The slicer is made from food grade ABS plastic with stainless steel blades and stand.
Dishwasher safe
I found it is best to use small pieces at a time for better results.
To change the blade just push the button and pull towards you to unlock the blade. Then slide the desired blade into place.
I had some trouble lining up the blades,they would not slide down into the grove.
It took 3 tries to get the blade to finally go in the slot.
What i do like is the slicer is slightly slanted so the slice fall right on to the plate.
I tested out the product by using it to cut some peppers and tomatoes for a salad.
Note : The blades are sharp do not let the kids slice,wear protective gloves.
The holder is not much of a holder the blades slide out when bumped.
