 The product arrived wrapped and in a cardboard box.
The unit is small and lightweight.Comes with chain and hooks to hook to the top of the unit so you can hang the unit high.
 I had a little trouble with the hook it didn't want to go on the loop.
The back cover did not want to stay on.
 
I didn't hear any humming when using. It light up blue when inuse.
The instructions tell you how to take a part  the unit so  you can change the tube.
The on/off switches located on the top right.

Bug zapper works great you can hear them been zapped.
I recommend the bug killer it has work great in my garage.
