My daughter took one to shine her chevy camaro up and clean her rims.
Yes the cloths are durable and can be used any way you want to use them.

I dampen the cloth lightly before I use in the kitchen.

 When I do this I get the perfect shine.( With little elbow grease )

 I am pleased with the cloths. I just throw in the wash when done using.
Makes a great cleaning cloth for windows.
The hook makes the cloth easy to hang .(picture below shows the hook)

 I like the product  Can be used to shine windows,shine stainless steel,or help clean anything in  kitchen.
